Today was a nice day. Busy, but nice. Worked a bit in the morning helping out with tendering (small boat that takes passenger’s to shore because the boat isn’t able to dock). That was followed by rehearsal. We are doing the same show tonight that we did the final night of last cruise, so it’s the freshest in my mind.
We were in La Spezia today. Was able to get off and wander around with Danielle (Danny), a dancer on the ship. The town was small and it was siesta (yes, siesta) so the shops were all closed except a few coffee shops. We tried to find a bank to exchange some dollars for Euros. No luck L We ended up finding a nice coffee shop, wandered around for about an hour, found a couple of picture opportunities and headed back to the ship. Oh yeah.. No sun and it rained a bit while we were on shore, then it was GORGEOUS as we boarded the ship – what can you do… BOO!!! Plus, the ship departed at 6pm so not much time to do much of anything. Still, doing “not much of anything” in ITALY!!!
Tonight we performed Con Molto. It was the 2nd time for this show and I think it was marginally better. I have a bit of a cold, so I haven’t been able to really let loose vocally yet.
